3. Avoid processed foods
Processed foods are full of chemical preservatives and artificial ingredients. They can cause inflammation because they are foreign to our bodies. You should avoid all processed meats such as bacon, pepperoni and deli meats. This also includes things like potato chips and cookies. Most frozen (or pre-prepared meals) also contain unhealthy chemicals. If you need to eat a frozen meal, choose one that is low in sodium, with lots of vegetables.
